Serial console cable as required for Mikrotik Netinstall program.

This is a DB9P to DB9P serial console cable for all Mikrotik Routerboard products wired in a crossover configuration as required. Gives serial console access for Mikrotik's Netinstall program. You must use Netinstall to flash a new OS into a Mikrotik Routerboard when you have lost the password or when you have lost ethernet access.

All RouterBoard users should keep at least one or two of these cables on hand. Connects between the DB9 serial port of your computer and the DB9 serial console port of the Routerboard product. Use with a serial terminal program like Hyperterm. Serial port settings should be 115,200, 8,n,1.

This cable has both DB9 and RJ45 ends as shown.
